Follow one of Europe's greatest pilgrim routes by bike, the Via Francigena. This epic ride will take you through the rolling hills of Tuscany all the way from Lucca, with its ancient walls and architecture, to the iconic city of Rome. Take in the stunning views of Tuscany's open valleys, cypress trees, vineyards and olive groves as you pass through hilltop villages. Stay and explore the medieval Tuscan towns of San Gimignano, Siena and Montalcino, and maximise your time by hiring an E-bike. Refuel on delicious Italian food, whether it's coffee and pastries, cured meats and cheese with fresh bread, or an afternoon gelato. There's no better way to end a days ride than with a glass of full-bodied Tuscan red wine and a delicious bowl of fresh pasta.
