Every day is a highlight with jaw-dropping vistas over lush mountain meadows, lakes and forests. Not only will you hike the most beautiful sections of the Alta Via 1, but in the evenings you'll enjoy private rooms with en-suite baths in comfortable hotels located in quaint mountain villages. Immerse yourself in the local Ladin culture by eating Knödel or Nocken mit Spinat (spinach dumplings) in the mountain villages of St. Vigil and St. Kassian, then in Alleghe sample Venetian specialties. At each overnight stop admire the Dolomites from a different angle and in the vibrant town of Cortina d`Ampezzo, at the end of your trip, put your feet up and celebrate your amazing Dolomite adventure.
