The Speyside Way is one of Scotland's finest national trails, officially opening in 1981 as the second trail to launch, just a year after the West Highland Way. It provides a beautifully varied journey through the heart of Scotland's most famous whisky distilling region.

Starting near the Moray Firth, the route gradually leads you into the majestic Cairngorms, a region steeped in natural wonders. The trail itself showcases a variety of landscapes. It winds along the tranquil banks of the River Spey, meanders through vast open moorland, and follows sections of an old railway trackbed, blending historical charm with natural beauty.

Our Speyside Way hiking tours allow you to walk at your own pace, with baggage transfers, comfortable Speyside Way accommodation, and detailed route notes provided. Whether you choose the classic Speyside Way route or the whisky-focused Speyside Whisky Trail, you’ll experience a blend of history, nature, and Scotland’s finest single malts.
